This issue may have been caused by a broken splice around the outgoing drive area, and the following filament was driven parallel to the leading filament, causing them to get jammed next to each other.
To remove the filament, first turn Palette™/Palette+™ off. Try gently pulling on the filament, and seeing if one of the filaments will come dislodged. If you’re able to get one of them out, the other one should come out easily.
If the clog happens in the Teflon tube connected to the Scroll Wheel, you may have to disassemble the Scroll Wheel in order to gain access to the filament.
First, unscrew the top three screws fastening the acrylic plate.
Once the screws and acrylic plate have been removed, you'll be able to lift the Teflon tube out of the Scroll Wheel:
